Indremedisinske innlegg

Magnus Malnes innleggDebatten i plenum tek alle moglege rare retningar, men dei nordisk-baltiske innlegga har i alle fall ein raud tråd.

  • CONCRETE PROPOSALS for the topic
  • WE SEE THAT The cohesion between the real decisions of the General Conference and the Youth Forum must be clarified and strengthened.
  • SUPPORT SWEEDEN in a direct demand:
  • To include youth delegates in national delegation to the General Conference and all other relevant decision bodies of UNESCO where appropriate, and to conferences organised by UNESCO.
  • We ask that the Youth Forum of 2011 be held parallel to or immediate in front of the General Conference.
  • We ask the Director-General to report back in written and person to the Youth Forum in 2011 on the recommendations of the 6th Youth Forum has been adopted; followed up and/or implemented by decision making bodies and secretariat of UNESCO.
  • To ensure effective implementation of the youth-participation ambitions of UNESCO, objectives of the global and regional youth strategies and ideals of inclusion of youth NGOs in UNESCO:
  • Youth participation must be mainstreamed in all programs, budgets and strategies, as well as in national implementation. UNESCO must take a leading role in promoting and setting normative standards (for example the African Union – African Youth Charter) and monitor the progress of youth participation. While both strengthening youth participation in UNESCO leaded work, such as international, regional and national conferences and processes, UNESCO must also invite partners to strengthen youth participation.
